T.N.A. Perumal (1932 – 2017) was an internationally respected Indian wildlife photographer and naturalist. Sri. Perumal will be remembered for his significant contributions to the art and craft of nature photography from its earliest developmental stages through today’s sophisticated vision. He was both an ardent Pictorialist and undaunted documentarian.
Sri. Perumal created his own inimitable legacy as a photographer, documentarian, conservationist, author, educator, and above all, a good human being.
Since our inception, PhotoMuse members had the privilege of his friendship and counsel on our advisory panel. Sri. Perumal will continue to shine as an incomparable symbol of goodness for us all. His teachings will endure as living examples of quality and competence. The space he has created within our community will forever remain filled with the wisdom of an emblematic teacher and a remarkable artist.
