Empty grounds, with its vastness, barrenness and the dense sense of void, instill grief within me. It reminds me of a mind devoid of memories. Amnesia, as a state of mind, is always a journey back to the beginnings where the mind has nothing in it, except for the instinctive emotions that one is born with. It is similar to the primitive earth waiting for the vegetation and the organisms to grow on it. Memories are organic beings that reside in the desolate space of the ageing mind.
